16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) ended with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) becoming champions and lifting the IPL 2023 trophy. In the high-octane final played in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on May 29, MS Dhoni-led CSK beat Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) by 5 wickets on the last-ball thriller after the target was revised in a rain-curtailed match.

The third team in the list is Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which won the trophy in 2012 and 2014 under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir. Hyderabad have also won two titles but under different names. They first won in 2009 as Deccan Chargers under the captaincy of Adam Gilchrist, while David Warner led them to a title triumph as Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016.
